Nate Cress

Pastor Nate grew up in Terrell, TX where he met his wife, Jennie. They have two kids together, Gracie and Josiah. He is a graduate of the North Texas School of Ministry through Global University. He also studied at Nelson University. Before joining the staff at High Point, Pastor Nate served in various ministry roles for churches and ministries in North Texas and Central Oklahoma. Pastor Nate is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God who has a passion for the lost and to see the Kingdom of God expanded both locally and globally. He's also a total nerd who enjoys technology and all things sci-fi! Nate enjoys coffee often carrying a cup of coffee in his hand and collecting coffee cups wherever he goes.

As Executive Pastor, he oversees the ministries and leaders of High Point to strategically build teams which fulfill the vision of the church.

His wife, Jennie, works as a teacher at Royse City ISD and serves at High Point on the worship team.

Pastor Nate and Jennie feel called to the people of Royse City and High Point and were excited to officially join High Point in 2021.
